Hello,I had a running license with my NOD32 Linux , I had to move computers and re-install everything , I have removed the NOD32 from the old system , and I have installed in the new system once I try to activate I do receive that the username/password are invalid , I can post the username of the license but I don't know if it's allowed if you'd like to check it up , but still I can't use my license nor I can use the other one that I bought for other PCs.
If you did so, you must have received your ESET username/password and Licence Key to your e-mail adress, and if in the meantime you have lost this email (licence data) -> proceed to earlier mentioned ESET lost licence web page....
I have resolved it , forum staff can help you with this , but in my case I had to buy a license directly from ESET or direct eset partner , and not any other reseller , someone will reply to you about this matter , don't worry.
ESET Windows home products provide the option to establish a user-defined password to access program settings. If your system is part of a company network, contact your network administrator for assistance.
If you do not know your user-defined password, you can use the ESET Unlock Utility to remove it and restore your access to the configuration settings. ESET Technical Support can only provide unlock codes to users who can validate and verify their installed ESET product with settings protection password enabled.
Eset is overall pathetic 2 week passed but I am not able to activate my product on my laptop.. customer care says there is no product purchased they see on my name.. I can see my product key got registerd on 26th Jan 2021. on my laptop application ask for username and password.. Eset gave me activation key.. Now how am I suppose to use activation key where application ask only for username and passord.. I tried with myeset credentioal but application says its not valid..
It seems I have the same problem: downloaded and installed ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 (Ver. 18.104.22.168) for Linux from ESET Downloads (no third party) and bougth licenses. I got license keys and have a software which doesn't accept keys but wants username/password. What is the solution, please?
I received an email with a license key, a license ID, a username, a product specified, and a quantity of licenses. What substitutes for the password for ESET Internet Security when activating on NOD32 ? The ID or the key ?
Marcos, I paid for the NOD32 + the increased banking security. In my final checkout screen, it showed up as ESET Internet Security. Where it showed me what to download, NOD32 was still one of the DL options, so I DLed it of course because I am on Linux. But, as I stated previously, in my license email, I received an email with a license key, a license ID, a username, a product specified, and a quantity of licenses. No password. ???
I was faced with an issue regarding ESET NOD32 today. A couple of computers had an old (undocumented) configuration of their antivirus. As it turned out the clients had Protected setup which means you cannot access the settings, or un/reinstall the program without a specific password. It also happened to not be set up to talk to the appropriate Remote Administration-server.
I used your method to remove ESET Endpoint on Windows 7 Pro. Worked perfectly. The program had been installed and maintained for some years by a now defunct 3rd party security support service, so password unknown to any of us. Unable to administer the antivirus program and was causing serious compromise in performance, with no rights to password reset by company. Used 1st method: booted into SafeMode Admin account, used regedit, deleted PackageID key (~ same location), rebooted, performed uninstall without being blocked by lack of password, rebooted, deleted hidden files, rebooted, clean uninstall. The internet is a wonderful source of info. Thank you. Thank you. 2b1af7f3a8
